The TP-Link Omada EAP225-Outdoor is an AC1200 dual-band outdoor access point designed to extend reliable wireless coverage in demanding outdoor environments. It supports speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, utilising MU-MIMO technology for efficient simultaneous connections with multiple devices.
Built with an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure, this access point is resistant to dust, rain, and extreme temperatures, making it suitable for installation in parking lots, rooftops, campuses, and industrial facilities. It features two external 5 dBi antennas, a Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af PoE support, and operates in temperatures from -30°C to 70°C.
The EAP225-Outdoor integrates with the Omada Controller for centralised network management, offering features such as band steering, beamforming, airtime fairness, captive portal, load balancing, and rate limiting. This simplifies administration and provides advanced control over the Wi-Fi infrastructure.
