The TP-Link Omada TL-SL1218P is a 16-port 10/100Mbps plus 2-port Gigabit rackmount switch with 16-port PoE+. It provides both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones, supporting IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ standards with up to 30W per port and a total PoE power budget of 180W. This reduces the need for additional power cables, streamlining installation and minimising clutter.

The switch also features 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and a Combo Gigabit SFP slot for high-speed connectivity to servers and storage devices, ensuring efficient data flow for demanding applications. Its rackmountable 19-inch chassis allows for easy deployment in server rooms or network closets, saving valuable space.

As part of the Omada business solution, the TL-SL1218P supports centralised management through the Omada Controller, providing real-time monitoring, VLANs, QoS, and traffic prioritisation. Advanced features like Extend Mode for 250m PoE transmission, Priority Mode for ports 1-8, and Isolation Mode enhance network flexibility. The switch includes a 5-year local warranty and comes with an internal power supply.
